Philanthropy Events

We hold multiple events each year in order to raise money for our philanthropy, Service for Sight (more information can be found on our Foundation page). We also attend other organizations' events on campus in order to support their philanthropies!

Each fall we host our biggest philanthropy event, Anchor Splash, a synchronized swimming competition. Zeta Nu was the 100th chapter of Delta Gamma to host Anchor Splash.

During the week of Anchor Splash, we do a few things leading up. We've done "Anchor Pets," where people submit and vote on their favorite nautically dressed pets. We've also done Jersey Days where DG's can be found around campus in their jerseys and other members of Greek Life can learn sight fact's and share them to earn points for their philanthropy. 

While other chapters of Delta Gamma host "Milk & Cookies," every spring, Zeta Nu hosts "Dodge with DG", a Dodgeball Game with a different theme each year! Our past themes for this event have been: “Party in the USA”, Blacklight themed, and “Just DG it”. Zeta Nu is the only chapter of Delta Gamma to host this philanthropy event.

All organizations on campus are invited to be a part of these events to raise money for Service for Sight!
