Chapter History
The Zeta Nu chapter of Delta Gamma is the 131st chapter of Delta Gamma Women’s Fraternity.
Today, Delta Gamma Fraternity has 150 collegiate chapters and over 175 alumnae groups across the United States and Canada.
After a week of interviews, Zeta Nu was colonized on September 29th, 1990, and 39 outstanding young women pledged. After many months of hard work, the Zeta Nu colony of the University of Montevallo made Delta Gamma history by holding the first ever dual installation with the Zeta Xi colony of the University of Alabama at Birmingham on February 2nd, 1991. Each year, we celebrate our founders with Zeta Xi and local alumnae. In 2021, alumnae and collegiate members alike celebrated the 30th anniversary of Zeta Nu's and Zeta Xi's founding.
The Zeta Nu chapter is located in Hanson Hall at the University of Montevallo.
